Homemade Lemonade

Nothing beats a cooling glass of lemonade on ice when the weather gets warmer. Try this easy lemonade recipe at home!

 

INGREDIENTS

6 lemons, halved

150g granulated sugar

600ml boiling water

600ml cold water

 

METHOD

With a citrus juicer, juice each lemon half then pour into a jug or container that is suitable to hold boiling water.

Add the sugar, followed by the boiling water and stir until the sugar dissolves.

Pour in the cold water then stir again. Taste the mixture to check the sweetness, add more sugar or water as needed. Strain the lemonade if you feel you need to.

Pour into a serving jug and refrigerate for a few hours to chill thoroughly.

Serve with ice and a slice of lemon.
