Easter White Chocolate Bark

Easter White Chocolate Bark

This recipe is perfect for those who want to make a fun Easter treat but are short on time (and patience!). This White Chocolate Bark is an easy recipe that is great for the young ones but full of treats that grown-ups will love too!

500g white chocolate

100g milk chocolate

Toppings of your choice, we used:

  •       Galaxy Golden Eggs
  •       Cadbury Mini Eggs
  •       Triple Chocolate Curls
  •       Micro Easter Eggs
  •       Rainbow Sprinkles
  •       Mini Wafer Flowers

  1. Line a tray with non-stick baking paper.
  2. Break up the chocolate into cubes. Put the white and milk chocolate pieces into separate microwavable bowls.
  3. In a microwave, melt the white chocolate, heating it for 20 seconds at a time then stirring gently. Reduce the time between checking as the chocolate melts to avoid burning it. Continue until all chunks have melted into a smooth consistency.
  4. Set the white chocolate aside and repeat the melting process for the milk chocolate, heating it for 30 seconds at a time and stirring gently (as there is less chocolate, this step should not take as long).
  5. Pour the white chocolate into the prepared tray, using a wooden spoon to scrape it out and create an even layer in the tray.
  6. With a tablespoon, take a spoonful of the milk chocolate and dollop into the tray. Swirl it into the white chocolate with a knife to create a marbled effect. Continue to add milk chocolate and do this until you are happy with the result.
  7. Being as creative as you like, add the toppings and press them gently into the chocolate. Once decorated, refrigerate the bark for at least one hour until it has set.
  8. Remove from the baking paper and crack off a piece to enjoy!
