Katie Alice Vintage Indigo

Vintage Dutch Inspiration…

Inspired by the delft tiles of Amsterdam, Vintage Indigo breathes new life into traditional blue and white porcelain. Each piece revives the heritage delft design found in Rembrandt’s house, which Katie was captivated by on a trip she took to Amsterdam. Capturing the elegance of Dutch delftware, Vintage Indigo also flaunts a modern twist of contemporary motifs and impeccable super white porcelain. The collection’s design scatters dark blue roses on a bed of woven gingham, not forgetting to lace the motifs with Katie Alice’s delicate polka dots.

…With A Fresh Direction…

Signifying further development in the maturity of the Katie Alice brand, this new collection sees Katie once again using her travel experiences to cultivate more complex and sophisticated influences for her designs. Venturing from her home in Northamptonshire, Katie first began using travel as inspiration in the Pretty Retro collection, drawing on Scandinavian folk art and retro pieces she found at antique fairs in Stockholm. Vintage Indigo takes the brand in a fresh new direction with significant inspiration from the Netherlands’ capital, while keeping the Katie Alice signature charm and influences from English country gardens, vintage heirlooms and antique fabrics. This signature style is evident in the use of English rose motifs, exquisite product shaping and the statement gingham design.

… And On-Trend Style.

As ever, this Katie Alice collection hits all the right notes with the industry as it featured as #9 in the Spring Fair Top Trending Products 2016. The collection includes pieces that are perfect for the breakfast table as well as afternoon tea, with a Vintage Indigo teapot, cake pedestal, plates, cups and saucers, egg cups and bowls all featured in the range.
