Last year we introduced a small but pretty tableware range called Highland Fling which flaunted a cosy look with its tartan print and lovely rich Autumnal colour palette. The collection was so well received, especially with its warm heritage patterns and with this in mind, we decided to expand the range onto lovely gifting ideas with packaging to match.
The colours of the hand-painted spot on teatime earthenware products were picked out from the hues of the Highland Fling floral illustration. The rich colour story was then carried through on to sweet knitted cosies, snuggly wrapped around a range of products including; ceramic mugs, set of 2 ceramic egg cups and a 6 cup tea pot. The knitted cosies are then tied with a button as if they are wearing woolly jumpers. So cute!
With home-baking still being one of the nation’s favourite past times and having a keen interest in home cooking myself, I have included some lovely baking gifts. The new product range includes the following: pretty tea towel in gift tin, a recipe box, shaker and cookie cutter set, set of 3 silicone biscuit stamps, an assorted range of cute cupcake cases presented in a gift box, pretty pie dish in the shape of heart which also includes a traditional funnel set and adorable kitchen textiles. I have also included a selection of my favourite recipes as part of the packaging which I hope will provide some culinary inspiration!

Katie’s gorgeous ten piece icing set contains a piping bag and a selection of nozzles and there are also silicon cake moulds, utensils made from beech with silicon details and a scrumptious traditional wire cooling rack. So no more excuses, it’s time to get baking!
Jam preserving has become a notably important trend throughout the UK market in recent years and shows no sign of reducing in popularity. With the increase in jam-jar sales, consumers are clearly enamoured with learning and putting into practice traditional skills. Consumers have also become more aware of their personal expenditure, which can be seen through the rise in socialising within the home, instead of spending money on external activities.
The new Katie Alice Jam Preserving range embodies the current cultural zeitgeist within the UK and allows you to hone your preserving skills with a wide selection of gorgeous preserving essentials, including preserve sealing sets, preserve labelling sets and for all you preserving novices, a preserve starter set all decorated with patterns and colours from Katie’s most popular ranges; English Garden, Cottage Flower and Highland Fling. So what are you waiting for, get involved and take to the kitchen to create some truly delicious treats with this beautiful range!
